"Combined, the four units can hold 16 people, because each bedroom has bunk beds.
"They're built to Title 24 in California building code standards, California energy code standards," Clevenger said. "So by all intents and purposes, they're built some people say the same way as a single family home, but they're actually built a little bit better and a little bit tighter because they're built in a factory in a controlled location."
Eventually, Clevenger plans to add kitchens and bathrooms to the units, as well as another five full units on the other side of the property."
